Welcome to blogspot Foalima Family!

Family and friends... TALOFA!  The Foalima Family has finally discovered blogspot and we are so pleased to be able to keep in touch with all of you!  So for the past couple of years, we have been living up here in Utah, close to the Chun/Olayan/Chun Ohanas.  We love being near to family and we have truly been blessed to experience new and exciting things up here in Utah.

Since we moved up here in August of 2008, Shane has been able to find lots of work.  Although working in the extreme colds and hots of Utah hasn't been easy, he has learned to adapt and enjoys what he does.  He is currently working for Creative Living Construction, which specializes in luxury homes and high end construction.  He loves his coworkers and especially loves his new boss who on the first night they met, let him drive his $65,000 prosche!  Shane loves working with good men and good friends!  While up here, Shane has also had the oppertunity to persue his passion of mixed martial arts.  He has been training out of Throwdown for the past two years with two ammature fights under his belt.  He is now trying to put together a Poly Fight Team.

Since moving here, I have been blessed to be able to go back to school.  In May I graduated from Provo College with Highest Honors and have since been working in a Family Practice Clinic, just across the street from our house.  I am truly enjoying my job in the medical field and plan to persue my nursing degree this coming fall at Utah Valley University.  I am fortunate to be able to work nights, so during the day I can still play mommy and housewife.  Being able to still be a mom and work, has got to be one of the most rewarding things in the world.

On October 1st, we welcomed our 3rd (yes 3rd) baby girl into our family.  Erykah Ann was 7 pounds 19 Inches long, and now almost a year later, has already developed her own little "bossy" personality.  At 9 months she began walking and now is giving demands and orders to everyone around the house.  "Ery Girl", as we all call her, is growing fast and we are currently working on getting her off the binky.  We'll keep you posted on that...

Norah is loving Utah!  Her favorite season is the winter and waits all year long for that first snow flake to fall.  She loves to go sledding at the "fish bowl" with the family.  She is now in the 1st grade and is loving the fact that she is old enough for full day and enjoys eating lunch in the school cafateria.  She is so picky about what she wears to school and how mom does her hair.  It actually drives me nuts!  She is getting so big so fast, and she is a great big sister to Emma and Ery Girl.

Emmaline is officially in school.  She is such a little handful, but is loving school.  She enjoys going to the same school as her big sister and  has really learned a lot since starting school. She can now write "Emma" all by herself and is learning something new everyday.  She is a handful though, always fighting with her sisters and cousins and seems to have her Aunty Mary's LOUD MOUTH!  Everyone says she is our "son" because of how crazy she is, but to us she will always be our little princess!

For those of you who don't know, my foster sister Trisha joined our family in September of 2009.  Altough she can be a headache sometimes, she has truly been a blessing to our family.  She is attending Timpview High School in Provo and has been such a great help with the girls.  She is our full-time baby-sitter, and the girls love having her around as their "big sis".  We are trying hard to help Trisha reach her full potential and hope she feels of our love and support.

Well we are so glad that we have finally discovered blogspot and we hope you folks will keep in touch with us.  We are so excited for the new chapters that are opening up in our lives and are excited to share them with all of you!  With all our love...
